34 weeks and counting

Time continues to fly by. The past month Ryan and I have been spending a lot of time doing yard work...preparing for the time when we might not have as much time doing those small things around the house. We completely cleaned out all of our flower beds and re-mulched them and we were even able to start our very first garden...with the help of Ryan O., Sarah, and my parents on a rainy Friday night. We...meaning Ryan has been working very hard on perfecting the pool. We started this year with what looked like a pond and finally this weekend I believe that it is near perfect.

This weekend we spent a relaxing Friday night together. Then Saturday we woke-up bright and early to get started on another morning of yard work. Then last evening we went to our friends daughter's 2nd birthday, which my most up to date profile picture was taken.

42 days until the big day or so we hope. Our last Dr. appointment was this past Thursday. Things seem to be perfect. I am measuring perfect and the babies HR was in the 150's...which was up from last time which was 130's. We are still waiting to be surprised about the sex of the baby...but by the way it kicks I think I might have the next Adam Vinatieri in my belly :) Our next appointment is June 15th...then at that point we will start going every week.

We are both to the point were we are getting a little nervous. If I have any kind of painful impression on my face Ryan jumps and asked "Are you ok!" I'm more nervous about having everything prepared and the actual process of having a baby. The room is completely ready but besides that things are still up in the air. I have tried to get our pantry stocked up so grocery trips won't be a huge deal right after the baby...but you can never expect the unexpected.

This week will continue be a busy work week for me. I have been trying to get ahead on everything that I possible can so by days are jam packed full. Ryan is going to begin preparing the house for a siding and paint upgrade that my dad has agreed to help out with in a couple of weekends. Look for an update hopefully sooner than later.
